Vinod Odhavji

The consulting practice was established by Vinod Odhavji in 1992, following years of service with Rankine and Hill Pty Ltd, a large engineering firm.
He has over thirty-five years of experience in all aspects of structural and civil engineering. In addition to over seventeen years of practice in Australia he has also worked overseas in Fiji and England with a number of consultants and construction companies. Vinod has a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Queensland and a Master of Philosophy in Engineering from University of Edinburgh. He is a member of Institution of Engineers Australia with NPER registration in Civil and Structural Engineering. He is also a member of the UK based Institution of Structural Engineers, serves in the committee of the Australian Division.
Vinod has hands-on experience in design and documentation of building structures and has been the structural engineer for numerous noteworthy projects including the following:

Consultant

Leon Grill

Leon Grill has over forty years of experience in structural engineering in South America, Australia and Malaysia. He has been associated with numerous noteworthy structures such as the award winning Riverside Building in Brisbane, St George Headquarters in Kogarah, numerous multi-storey Buildings and TV tower in Malaysia. His main interests lie in detailing, proof checking of designs and diagnosis and remediation of structural failures. Leon has attended over forty international conferences and presented over twenty five technical papers in structural engineering topics. He also conducts seminars and workshops in detailing issues and structural failures in Australia and overseas.

CAD Manager

David Ciancio

David is the CAD manager in charge of all the design drafting and detailing within the company. He has over twenty years of experience in drafting and detailing and has a wealth of experience in all different building materials and construction methods.
